Interviews with the cast of Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter
Below you will find a few interviews with some of the cast of the original version of Stab 7!

ROBERT DOE
1. Do you like scary movies? Very much.
2. What's your favorite scary movie? Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original.  All the other ones are garbage. Except for number 2, which is only slightly better than garbage.
3. Do you have any prior acting experience? A bit. I found acting in college and wound up doing several plays.  I’ve done a few short films as well.
4. Tell us a little bit about yourself. I’m 24.  I’m a proud member of the last ever graduating class of Chester College.  I studied Creative Writing and Theatre.  I’m a reporter for a small town paper and the lead singer of a band called The RAGE.  We can be found at www.Facebook.com/TheRAGEmusic.
5. Tell us, what you can, about your character in Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter.  Grayson is of dubious character at best.  He’s a “cool kid,” a football player.  Kind of a prick.
6. What initially drew you to your character and are you like him/her in any way? It is unavoidable that Grayson becomes a lot like me, in that I’m playing him.  To play something much different would feel forced and unnatural.  Still, I feel we’re rather dissimilar from one another.  Although, I am kind of a prick.
7. What's been your favorite part about filming? If you haven’t filmed yet, what are you most looking forward to? I don’t want to say my favorite part, for fear of spoilers.  It was a good time, though.  I’m looking very much forward to doing scenes with more interaction.  It is important to see how Grayson is with other people.
8. Are you a fan of the Scream films? I love them all.
9. Did you watch the other 3 Stab films before joining the Stab 7 cast? I watched them soon after.
10. You make movies where people try to kill you… does that worry you in real life? We’ll see.  No one’s pranked me yet.
11. What’s the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? I set my hand on fire while driving once.  Probably that.
12. Regardless of what happens to you in Stab 7, if you could choose, would you be a victim, survivor or killer in the next Stab movie? Killer!
13. Is your character in Stab 7 similar to any in characters in the Scream films? Probably a lot of them.  Again, I fight the urge to answer for I feel I’d give something away.
14. If your life was a scary movie, who would play you? I’d like it if it was Ben Foster.  He’s amazing.
15. Any final words? This is gonna hurt.

STEPHANIE MAHEU
1. Do you like scary movies? I love scary movies.
2. What's your favorite scary movie? My favorite scary movie is Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
3. Do you have any prior acting experience? Yes I have prior acting experience doing films like Stab 5, Stab 6: Ghostface Returns, The Gates and The Darkness Within.  I have also been in over 8 plays and musicals.
4. Tell us a little bit about yourself. I live in Lowell and I am currently attending UMass Lowell for Psychology and Theater Arts with a competency in Music.  I love to dance, play and create music and act.
5. Tell us, what you can, about your character in Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter. In Stab 7 my character Shannon Nightingale is coming back with a mission.  She’s fully recovered from the previous films, sober and running straight into her problems with no hesitation.
6. What initially drew you to your character and are you like him/her in any way? I was a last minute replacement and it went so well I couldn't turn away.  I have the fight in me that my character does.  "No one’s going to hold me down I've got to keep on moving".
7. What's been your favorite part about filming? If you haven’t filmed yet, what are you most looking forward to?  My favorite part about filming is getting to do stage combat.  I'm looking forward to starting and finishing filming.  I love the process and then seeing the final result.
8. Are you a fan of the Scream films?  Oh you know I am a scream fan!!
9. Did you watch the other 3 Stab films before joining the Stab 7 cast? Yes, but I tried not to study my character too much because I wanted to put my own spin on it.
10. You make movies where people try to kill you… does that worry you in real life?  Sometimes I worry about doing films were people are trying to kill me.  Josh definitely scared me when we were at FantaCon saying some crazy person was going to kill me.
11. What’s the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? One of the scariest things that ever happened to me was almost drowning when I was a kid. My feet got stuck in a float and it flipped over.  Thankfully my older cousin saved my life.
12. Regardless of what happens to you in Stab 7, if you could choose, would you be a victim, survivor or killer in the next Stab movie?  Maybe a surviving killer.  I like getting into the mind of a psycho.
13. Is your character in Stab 7 similar to any in characters in the Scream films?  I'd say I'm like a Sidney Prescott.  Killers are usually my boyfriends and I am always trying to save everyone.  Also, I always survive… but you never know about what happens in Stab 7. Josh says that Stab 7 is like the finale to the Shannon trilogy that started in Stab 5… so maybe Shannon will die this time.
14. If your life was a scary movie, who would play you?   Someone fabulous who is a little silly and loud.
15. Any final words?  See you soon..... muahahahaahahahahaha

6. What initially drew you to your character and are you like him/her in any way? My character can be a little awkward so that’s definitely something we have in common.
7. What's been your favorite part about filming? If you haven’t filmed yet, what are you most looking forward to? My favorite part is getting to pretend to be someone else! I like the challenge of trying to create something that isn’t real, and make it seem totally believable to the viewer.

GRACE PARATORE
1. Do you like scary movies? I am obsessed with scary movies.
2. What's your favorite scary movie? That's an incredibly hard question. Definitely A Tale of Two Sisters, Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, really any of the 80-90's slasher movies.
3. Do you have any prior acting experience? I do! I love theatre.
4. Tell us a little bit about yourself. I am a student at NHIA, studying creative writing. I am currently obsessed with marathoning Battlestar Galactica and Friday Night Light's on Netflix.
5. Tell us, what you can, about your character in Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter. Diana is kind of a lame girl. She's very much into following the rules, trying to come across as the sensitive smarter-than-you girl, but really she's a lot like all her friends, she's very much still in high school.
6. What initially drew you to your character and are you like him/her in any way? Well I was kind of like Diana in high school. I was nicknamed The Virgin Mary in one particularly bad science class.
7. What's been your favorite part about filming? If you haven’t filmed yet, what are you most looking forward to? Any one-on-one scenes interest me the most.
8. Are you a fan of the Scream films? The biggest fan! That's why I wanted to do this project. I am in love with Wes Craven. All his movies are my favorites.
9. Did you watch the other 3 Stab films before joining the Stab 7 cast? I did.
10. You make movies where people try to kill you… does that worry you in real life? I think it'll be really cool to watch myself die some super typical horror movie way. That's really fun to me. I’m not saying I die in Stab 7 but that would be cool!
11. What’s the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? I feel like all my very scary episodes were mostly created by me, freaking myself out. I did have some spooky tween Ouija board experiences though.
12. Regardless of what happens to you in Stab 7, if you could choose, would you be a victim, survivor or killer in the next Stab movie? Survivor! Who wouldn't want to be a Sidney Prescott?!?
13. Is your character in Stab 7 similar to any in characters in the Scream films? You know I'm not sure. I feel like they had a lot of the party girls, but not so many of the brainy girls.
14. If your life was a scary movie, who would play you? Christina Ricci!
15. Any final words? Enjoy the movie!

TAJOURA DAVIS
1. Do you like scary movies? Suspenseful, yes, gorey, no, unless it has an amazing plot and great characters.
2. What's your favorite scary movie?Tends to be movies that border on sci-fi, like Scanners, or Carrie. I prefer scary books like IT and Jaws.
3. Do you have any prior acting experience? That's a loaded question...yes? But, seriously, I do, though more stage than film. My last film was an indie called The Bond, a horror flick about a serial killer...wait, deja vu, LOL! In that one I got to be a bad*ss cop...this character is the complete opposite.
4. Tell us a little bit about yourself. I grew up in Stamford, CT, have 3 siblings, 3 nieces, a nephew and would enjoy a husband of my own if someone fitting that description showed up :)
5. Tell us, what you can, about your character in Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter. Valerie is what you might call a scaredy cat and an obvious "suspected" victim. She talks constantly about being afraid being a victim...that is a classic "Hey lady, don't do that!" move.
6. What initially drew you to your character and are you like him/her in any way? Not a much, LOL! I usually like to play characters that are vulnerable but appear stronger, however, I do like her loyalty and sense of commitment. Even in fear, she has Shannon's back.
7. What's been your favorite part about filming? If you haven’t filmed yet, what are you most looking forward to? I just filmed for the first time recently...I enjoyed the flow and atmosphere of filming...working with Steph with Josh D. behind the camera is a hoot! :)
8. Are you a fan of the Scream films? Honestly, I haven't watch more than 10 minutes of one at a time yet.
9. Did you watch the other 3 Stab films before joining the Stab 7 cast? No, I did not, my character is suppose to be mostly clueless, but I'd like to take time to see them after.
10. You make movies where people try to kill you… does that worry you in real life? Initially it was really a creepy notion, now I get the kitsch of it all, so it's cool.
11. What’s the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? Being arrested...but that's a story for another day, LOL!
12. Regardless of what happens to you in Stab 7, if you could choose, would you be a victim, survivor or killer in the next Stab movie? Survivor - character growth by overcoming obstacles.
13. Is your character in Stab 7 similar to any in characters in the Scream films? She’s probably most like Sidney’s assistant in Scream 4, minus the heartlessness.
14. If your life was a scary movie, who would play you? Angela Bassett ;)
15. Any final words? Yes. My characters curse more than I normally have in the past, and I find myself picking up their habits sometimes, so, well, I'm trying to stop that habit from creeping in so much, somewhat unsuccessfully, LOL!

Joshua Patrick Dudley
1. Do you like scary movies?  They are my favorite!
2. What's your favorite scary movie? Scream 2, I think. I like a lot horror from the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

5. Tell us, what you can, about your character in Stab 7: Knife of the Hunter. He’s a ghost… that’s all I can say.
6. What initially drew you to your character and are you like him/her in any way? I mean, he’s me. I wrote him and the movie. We have a lot of similarities but I am not a sociopath… or am I?
7. What's been your favorite part about filming? If you haven’t filmed yet, what are you most looking forward to? I love watching the scripts I write come to life! It’s one thing to see the movie in your head while you’re writing it but, to see it in the flesh, it’s a feeling I can’t really describe but, I like it!
8. Are you a fan of the Scream films? Very much so.
9. Did you watch the other 3 Stab films before joining the Stab 7 cast? I wrote and directed them, so yes, I’ve seen them many time.
10. You make movies where people try to kill you… does that worry you in real life? More than you’d think. Let’s just say I double check every lock before I go to bed and I don’t answer phone calls from blocked/private/unknown numbers lol
11. What’s the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? My life has been one terror after another but probably getting arrested for various things. The feeling of not having any freedom is absolutely terrifying.
12. Regardless of what happens to you in Stab 7, if you could choose, would you be a victim, survivor or killer in the next Stab movie? I’ve actually had the chance to play all three in our films, but I’d say killer. I like playing crazy.
13. Is your character in Stab 7 similar to any in characters in the Scream films? Maybe Roman from Scream 3. Serial killer movie director. Sounds about right.
14. If your life was a scary movie, who would play you? Funny how I can’t think of a single male, ginger actor right now. But definitely some scrawny gay kid.
15. Any final words? I’ll be right back…
